The Minister of Sports and Solidarity witnesses the activities of the Sports impact conference on the lives of persons with disabilities

This morning, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Nevin Al -Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity;The activities of the Sports impact conference on the lives of persons with disabilities, which is organized by the National Council for Persons with Disabilities and the German Hans Zaidle Foundation.

The conference is witnessing several dialogue sessions on the impact of sport on the lives of persons with disabilities, the role of women with disabilities in Paralympic sport in the context of celebrating World Women's Day, honoring the heroes of Olympiad Tokyo, African champions in basketball sitting, and African champions in the sport.

The conference was attended by Dr. Iman Karim, General Supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, Major General Hani Ahmed Nabih, Secretary -General of the Council, members of the Paralympic Committee, officials of the German Hans Zidel Foundation, representatives of the Egyptian Federation for Blind Sports, Paralympic Sports Champions, and representatives of sports federations for people with disabilitiesCivil society organizations.

In this context, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, affirmed that the heroes of people with determination and capabilities, or are able, according to the real treasure of Egypt and the ministry, carefully and continuously care for them to train and integrate these heroes with ambitions and achievements that we are proud of because they are the sons of Egypt and its supervising future in the new republic, declaringLaunching the name of the late Paralympic champion in weightlifting, Tariq and Haydan Ali, the national team training hall at the Olympic Center in Maadi.

He added that the Ministry of Youth and Sports runs an integrated system of sports bodies for people with determination and capabilities, pointing to the situation of the political leadership during the era of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al -Sisi in this category in the forefront of priorities and interests on the part of the Egyptian countries, in coordination with the relevant authorities.

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi pointed out that the ministry is keen to integrate young people with capabilities and concern in all its programs and activities, pointing out that programs and activities have been prepared to support people with concerns and capabilities, developing the databases of the beneficiaries of programs and representing people with concerns in the Youth and Vanguard Parliament and political and national formation programs, in line with the strategyNational Human Rights.

Dr. Nevin Al -Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, pointed out to the National Human Rights Strategy, which equal equality among all in all rights and duties without looking at anything else, congratulating Egypt's heroes of Egypt who raised the name of Egypt high despite the difficulties and challenges they face.

The minister added that the Egyptian state is keen to integrate various categories of capabilities and anxiety in the various services provided to them, and work on this with a great effort in cooperation with various governmental and private bodies and institutions.

For its part, Dr. Iman Karim, General Supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, explained that the establishment of the conference is a true translation of the state's interest in the Paralyber champion, and also within the framework of the Council's belief in the importance of raising the awareness of Egyptian society on this issue through its cooperation with the German Hans Zaidle Foundation and the state institutions thatIt believes in the importance of integration and empowerment for persons with disabilities to achieve sustainable development goals.
