The Chamber of Deputies opened today, Saturday, the door for nomination for the position of President of the Republic as of tomorrow, and for a period of three days.
The Conference Palace will begin on Sunday, 6 October, for a period of three days.
The statement indicated that the conditions that must be met in the candidate are
1. Be an Iraqi citizen and have Iraqi parents.
2. That he be fully qualified and at the age of 40.
3. To have a good reputation and political experience, and to be known for his honesty, wisdom, justice and loyalty to the nation.
4. That its educational attainment should not be less than that of the primary university certificate recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq.
5. Be not sentenced to a crime of dishonor.
6. That he should not be subject to the provisions of the Accountability and Justice Law procedures or any procedures that replace them.
Official Records
1. A written request to the Speaker of the House of Representatives to nominate himself for the post of President of the Republic.
2. Personal belongings that prove that Al-Matrab nominated for an Iraqi candidate is an Iraqi candidate, and that his parents are Iraqis. This can be achieved by presenting the candidate with the identity of the civil status and the Iraqi nationality certificate to the candidate and his parents.
3. A detailed curriculum vitae showing the presence of a candidate with political experience.
4.A document proving that a candidate has obtained a university certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
