Continuous investigations into Al-Hindi, who killed the Kuwaiti family in Al-Farouaniyah governorate, in a crime known in the media as the "crime of Al-Nazareth", and which included three persons, revealed the details of the crime that was discovered last Friday.
The perpetrator of the horrendous crime that aroused public opinion in Kuwait was arrested in the Al-Salibi area of Al-Jahara governorate, after search and investigation revealed his involvement in the commission of the crime.
Investigations indicated that one of the former maids of the Kuwaiti family was the wife of the murderer who had confessed to the crime because of “a material dispute between him and the owner of the house, citizen Ahmed Al Shatil”.
A security source told the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida that “the detectives unloaded all the surveillance cameras in the neighbours' houses, one of which showed a person without national clothes entering the house on 25 February at 4 a.m.”.
He added, “The same person, who was marked as a walking limp, was spotted leaving the house at 9 p.m. on the same day, but was dressed differently than the one who entered the family home”.
The source confirmed that the footage was shown to the victims' relatives, but that they did not know the identity of the person who appeared on the camera.
He stated that “all the servants' guarantees registered in the name of the victim's husband were examined by investigators, and it was found that he had three female servants who had left the country for a long time and had three other maids who had been abandoned a year ago, who had been summoned for investigation”.
He explained that the photographs had been shown to the maids during their interrogation, “stating that the person appearing on the film was her husband and that he worked for an electricity company in the Al-Salibi area”.
According to the security source, the killer admitted that he had entered the house with a wrench he had since his wife had been working there, and that he was very frequent because of his relationship with the owner, noting that he had planned his crime almost a week before it had been committed.
The accused stated that “he first killed the girl while she was sleeping in Naghou, then went to the mother who was sleeping in the hall of the house, strangled and slaughtered her, and then killed the father, who came out of his room after feeling a strange movement at home and between them, before he killed him with a knife”.
After slaughtering the entire family, the killer stole gold jewelry that was in the victim's bedroom, in addition to the sum of 300 dinars that were in his pocket. He stayed in the house until 9: 00 p.m., when Mishra was inside the house, changed his clothes, ate, and slept for a few hours before he left.
Following his arrest and investigation, the killer, accompanied by detectives and prosecutors, moved to the scene of the crime yesterday, Sunday, under heavy security.
