The 2022 Jeep Wrangler is offered in Egypt, at a starting price of 1.8 million pounds

Stelantis has launched the 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, with prices starting at EGP 1.8 million in the local market.

The company announced that it has opened the door for reservations for all “Jeep Wrangler 2022” models through the network of dealers of the “Jeep” brand, namely, “Abu Ghali Motors, Ezz Al-Arab Automotive Group, and Al-Tarek.”

Hisham Hosny, CEO of Stellantis Egypt, said that this step comes within the framework of the renewed commitment of “Jeep” to the local market, explaining that the good model of “Wrangler” is now available to its customers in Egypt through the network of branches, showrooms and service centers at Authorized agents of the trademark.

He added that Jeep is pleased to offer a range of various models in Egypt as soon as they are launched in the global markets.

He pointed out that “Stellantis” paid attention to expanding the provision of the latest models of the “Jeep” brand, which was able to maintain its leadership in the sales of four-wheel-drive cars for a long period of time, saying: “The launch of the new Wrangler is part of the strategy of Stellantis within The local market, in addition to many plans and activities that confirm Jeep, remains and will continue to maintain its leadership in this category of vehicles.”

Specifications of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

About the specifications of the new 2022 Jeep Wrangler, Ahmed Labib, Marketing Director of Stellantis, said Egypt: “The new Jeep Wrangler 2022 model in general, namely: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon,” which has been provided with more reliable and advanced off-road and desert capabilities, thanks to four-wheel drive engineering that reaches more than 80 years.

As for the specifications of the new “Jeep Wrangler Rubicon” model, it is one of the strongest designs for four-wheel drive cars in the world, and it has a high capacity to deal with desert roads and off-road, in addition to providing a mixture of classic design for Jeep brand lovers and modern modern designs. In addition, the car is considered one of the most important versions of Jeep, which has been very popular with SUV lovers.

The 2022 Jeep Wrangler models are equipped with a 3.6-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 285 “horsepower” and a maximum torque of 260 Newton / meter. It is available with the Wrangler Pentastar V6 engine with eTorque mild hybrid technology, connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and there is another option for a 6-speed manual transmission.

The car accelerates from standstill to 100 km in 6.8 seconds.

The Jeep Wrangler features a five-link front and rear suspension system, solid axles, and electronic lockers, in addition to many technical features, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with more than 75 safety and security features, such as blind spot monitoring and rear cross path detection, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and more.

The new Wrangler models also feature a forward-facing TrailCam with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Off-Road Plus also joins the Wrangler Rubicon as standard equipment and adjusts throttle, transmission and traction control shift points.

This Sky One-touch powertop system, available on four-door Wrangler models, allows passengers to open or close the Wrangler's roof with the press of a button. The Sky One-touch engine can also be used. At speeds up to 60 mph, Wrangler models feature an approach angle of 44 degrees, breakover angle of 27.8 degrees, exit angle of 37 degrees and a ground clearance of 10.9 inches. Helping the Jeep Wrangler climb the toughest terrain, the Jeep Wrangler is equipped with lightweight, high-strength doors, hinges, hood, fenders and a windshield frame with magnesium swing gate to help reduce weight and enhance fuel economy.
