Garmin has launched its new D2 Air X10 smartwatch, designed primarily for pilots.
The new watch can automatically track flights, including altitude, reached, which is measured by a barometer.
If an altitude is reached at which the user needs additional oxygen, he will receive a notification.
The American company explained that the D2 Air X10 smart watch includes a weather application that displays additional data about wind speed and visibility, in addition to an application that provides data on the runways of various airports, and the smart watch supports pilots during the navigational orientation to travel destinations, and the data can be synchronized with Garmin Pilot app directly.
The new D2 Air X10 smart watch offers many advanced functions such as displaying notifications, making contactless payments via Garmin Pay function, and storing music locally from streaming services Spotify, Deezer and Amazon Music.
The battery life in the case of normal use extends up to 7 days, and the new smartwatch from Garmin features a water-resistant body up to 5 ATM.
The technical equipment package includes a 416 x 416-pixel AMOLED screen protected against scratches by Gorilla Glass 3 with a SpO2 heart rate sensor and more than 25 sports applications to track fitness activities.
Garmin announced the availability of its new smartwatch, the D2 Air X10, in white and black.
