Mozilla will soon upgrade Firefox Monitor. The tool built into Firefox that allows you to check if your personal data (e-mail, passwords, etc.) has been compromised can find and delete your personal data that is accessible online. This is what Mozilla states on its website.
For Mozilla, having your personal data online makes you a prime target for identity theft by hackers. So Mozilla indicates that it is creating a service that aims to monitor websites that contain your personal data in order to delete them.
The service, whose outlines are still unclear, is not yet available. However, it is possible to register on a waiting list to be alerted as soon as this new functionality becomes available.
