Amman - As soon as the Football Association announced the start of the new football season for the professional championships, the professional clubs' fan associations and the fans in general began their preparations to encourage their teams from the stands.

The clubs hope that the presence of their fans in the stadium will be a strong support for their teams financially and morally, without incurring financial losses due to the offensive chants emanating from here and there, whose infection has spread from the stands to social networking sites remarkably.

Demands are constantly renewed by local clubs, to open the stands at full capacity in front of the fans in the new season, hoping to restore life to normal, similar to the rest of the world that opens Most of them are completely open to the masses.

Local clubs suffered during the season before last, and half of the past season, from the absence of player No. “12” from the stands due to the “Corona” pandemic, to attend 50% in the second leg of the last league, which encouraged the players to present advanced levels, but the offensive chants Which was issued occasionally, annoyed everyone.

In his interview with Al-Ghad, Rabihat stated that there are many reasons for insulting the stands, and it is not a justification for issuing such bad words, while indicating that getting rid of this phenomenon should not be by punishing the club's fans by not attending, and fining the club financially.

He added: “We hope that the Football Association will cooperate well with us this season, by recognizing us like the rest of the Arab federations, which are concerned with fan ties, in addition to holding courses and meeting with the fans to reach distinguished solutions, and I prefer that the fans be awarded an award.” The ideal encouragement after the end of the season, in order to encourage the fans to attend and commit throughout the season, and to allow entry to the fans and banners without suffering because of the beauty they add to the stands and television screens.

Rabihat, nicknamed “Al-Omda”, affirmed that the club’s fans are eager to return to the stands again, indicating that his team is the most stable at the level of local clubs, with a shortage of foreign players until now, although the team – as he said – is able to control locally without being affected by the exit of any player.

For his part, the head of the Al Wehdat Club Fans Association, Saeed Al Serafi, “Abu Saado”, explained that the federation did not fully play its role in reducing the phenomenon of verbal riots on the local stands during the past seasons.

Al-Sirafi believed that some federation committees are looking for the continuation of the phenomenon of verbal rioting in the stands, hoping to fine the clubs financially, and reap gains to cover some of the accumulated debts, instead of educating the masses and limiting the offensive chants, and he continued: “I wish the security services to hold the offender accountable. Through surveillance cameras in stadiums that monitor every big and small in the stands, and holding meetings for links recognized by clubs to put points on letters and deter abusive fans.

Al-Sirafi indicated that the Al-Wehdat fans will not fail to support their club in the new season, despite the wasted championships last season due to external factors and not the players' negligence as described, indicating that the team is preparing to win all local titles, through distinguished names in the team.

In the same context, Bilal Freihat, head of the Ramtha Club Fans Association, revealed that a number of his club's fans will meet before the start of the Shield Championship, in order to unify the chants on the runway without issuing insults, by also communicating with other club associations.

Freihat indicated that the offensive chants were the reason for the reluctance of some families and fans from the local stands, hoping that the encouragement would be ideal in the next season, and that it befits the size of Jordan and its distinguished Arab and Asian clubs.

And he continued: “We demand that the abusive fan be removed in cooperation with the security services and not attend again, and the fans have become important for any team to win titles through ideal encouragement, and we hope that the next season will be free of offensive chants through the awareness of the masses.”

Freihat pointed out that the morale of his team's players is high to preserve the league title under the leadership of coach Murad Al-Hourani, indicating that the team will not be affected by the players' departure in light of the presence of a young base capable of creativity.
