The Red Sea Development Company has announced the construction of a 1.2 km bridge as part of the total crossing that connects the mainland to the island.
A statement issued by the Red Sea Development Company (developed for one of the most ambitious renewable tourism projects in the world) stated that the "Arcodon" company has been appointed to design and build the bridge that connects the main mainland of the project with Al -Hazi and its length of 3.3 km.
The world leading company, "Arcreodon" will take charge of maritime infrastructure projects, will provide support in the field of engineering, purchases and construction to complete the construction of a secret bridge.
The bridge will consist of 3 parts of two short parts with a length of 36 meters on both ends of the crossing and then the main bridge, with the aim of preserving the pre -existing waterways to allow the movement of marine organisms through them.

The methods of designing the bridge and building the strict standards for sustainable development followed by the Red Sea Development Company.
The sustainable measures taken include strict control of the movement of any dirt and deposits as a result of foundation building activities through multiple surveillance buoys and strategically distributed to the alert while any mutations and changes on the surface occurred.
It is scheduled to establish a pre -prepared concrete for the bridge sections near the coast to shorten the distances of concrete transport from the mixing stations located within the site.
The conclusion of the contract with Arodon is a continuation of the main maritime support carried out by the company last year.Which in turn helped support the success of the project implementation by preparing a solid foundation to ensure the smoothness and effectiveness of the movement of people, materials and equipment within and around the destination, without prejudice to the safety of the natural environment.

The Red Sea project will consist at the completion of 2030 from 50 hotels that provide up to 8,000 hotel rooms and about 1,300 residential properties distributed on 22 islands and six internal sites. The destination will also include a luxury marina, and many entertainment and recreation facilities.
